Position type: Full-time Contract, potential contract to hire
Duration: 3+ months
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Shift : M-F 11am - 930pm (4 ten-hour shifts) and every 4th weekend 7AM - 7 PM

As a Medical Lab Scientist, your responsibilities:Bachelor's degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science.
Seeking a technologist with BSMT or BS in Bio or chem with 1 year experience, or MLS, or CLS. Open to 2-year MLT associates degree candidates.
Florida med tech license
Proficient in testing in all Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation
BS in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science from an accredited college or university with at least 1 year of training or experience in specialty in which testing will be performed. Such training must be equivalent to that received in a school of Medical Technology OR -90 Semester hours from an accredited institution that include the following: 16 semester hours of Biology courses, 16 Semester ours of chemistry [must include at least 6 hours of inorganic Chemistry], and 3 Semester hours of Math- along with having completed an accredited Clinical Laboratory training program or 1 year of documented Clinical Laboratory
Training, or experience in the specialty that testing is to be performed.
Associate's degree in medical technology

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: Between $38.00/hr. to $40.97/hr.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
