Job Description:

**Rehabilitation Therapist**: Provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients in a safe and comfortable environment, empowering them to manage their care independently and improve their quality of life.
UF Health Shands Rehab Services is dedicated to providing excellent patient care to individuals throughout north central Florida. Our comprehensive rehabilitation programs aim to create a supportive environment that enables patients to return to a functional lifestyle and improve their overall well-being.
We offer a range of rehabilitation services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, with a focus on orthopedics, neurology, and pelvic health. Our therapists work closely with referring physicians, therapists, and support staff to provide personalized care and education to patients.
Our adult rehab center is a comprehensive facility that provides a safe and comfortable environment for patients to receive rehabilitation services. We offer continuing education, journal clubs, staff mentoring, and the ability to be involved with student clinical education and our UF Health accredited residency programs in Sports and Orthopedics.
**Key Responsibilities:**

• 
  
• Provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
  
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  
• Work closely with referring physicians, therapists, and support staff to provide personalized care and education to patients.
  
• Participate in continuing education, journal clubs, and staff mentoring to stay up-to-date on the latest rehabilitation techniques and best practices.
  
  **Requirements:**
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in a rehabilitation therapy field.
    
  • No previous clinical experience necessary.
    
  • Demonstrates knowledge and skill in a broad range of therapy services and settings.
    
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills.
    
    **Licensure/Certification/Registration:** Licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Florida.
