Job Description:
A company is looking for a National Statistics Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct gap analysis of national agricultural surveys for SDG 2.4.1
data coverage
Align agricultural surveys with FAO's SDG 2.4.1 methodology and
develop sampling strategies
Train national stakeholders on data collection and establish a
sustainable reporting mechanism
Required Qualifications
Advanced university degree in Statistics, Economics, Environmental
Sciences, or GIS/Geography
5 years of relevant experience in agricultural statistics,
environmental science, or related fields
Working knowledge of English (C level)
National of Lesotho or resident with a valid work permit
Experience with statistical software such as R, Stata, or SPSS is
an asset
