Job Description:
A company is looking for a Conventional Underwriter to evaluate
and analyze residential loan applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Examine loan documents for accuracy and compliance with eligibility
criteria
Enter data into DU/LP systems and execute final AUS assessments
Communicate loan decisions clearly and maintain regular contact
with brokers and sales personnel
Required Qualifications:
At least 2 years of recent underwriting experience with
Conventional loan products
In-depth understanding of FNMA/FHLMC and investor guidelines
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with current underwriting policies and procedures
